Cigar & Bourbon Tickets Community Guidelines

Welcome to the Cigar & Bourbon Tickets ticketing, registration, and membership platform (“Platform”). The community guidelines outlined below (“Guidelines”) are designed to ensure a positive and respectful experience for all users of our Platform, which is owned and operated by Cigar & Bourbon Tickets LLC (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using our Platform, you agree to abide by these Guidelines. Failure to comply may result in the suspension or termination of your account. Respectful Behavior

(a) Be Courteous: Treat other users, event Organizers, and Company staff with respect and courtesy. Engage in constructive and polite discussions and avoid personal attacks, harassment, or discriminatory language.

(b) No Offensive Content: Do not post or share content that is offensive, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or violates the rights of others. This includes content that promotes violence, hatred, discrimination, or illegal activities.

(c) Intellectual Property Rights: Respect the intellectual property rights of others. Do not post or share copyrighted materials, trademarks, or any content that infringes upon the rights of others without permission. See our Trademark & Copyright Policy for more information.

Relevant and Appropriate Content

(a) Stay on Topic: Contribute to discussions and share content that is relevant to cigar and bourbon events, ticketing, memberships, and related topics. Avoid posting unrelated or spammy content.

(b) No Unauthorized Advertising: Do not use our Platform for unauthorized commercial purposes, including advertising, self-promotion, or solicitation outside of approved Organizer channels. Unauthorized advertising or promotional activities will be removed.

(c) Accurate Information: If you post reviews, comments, or other content, ensure that it is truthful, accurate, and based on your genuine experience. Do not post fake reviews or misleading information about events or Organizers.

(d) User-Generated Content: If you share content (such as reviews, comments, ratings, or photos) on our Platform, ensure that it is accurate, lawful, and respectful. You are solely responsible for the content you post. See our Terms of Service for content licensing details.

(e) Photo Wall Content: If you upload photos to an event’s Photo Wall, you must ensure that: the photos are yours or you have permission to share them; the photos do not contain inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content; the photos do not violate the privacy of other individuals without their consent; and the photos are related to the event. Company and Organizers reserve the right to remove any Photo Wall content that violates these standards without notice.

Compliance with Laws and Policies

(a) Compliance with Applicable Laws: Use our Platform in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and industry standards. This includes but is not limited to compliance with age restrictions for the purchase and consumption of tobacco and alcoholic products. You must be at least 21 years of age to use this Platform.

(b) Compliance with Platform Policies: Familiarize yourself with and adhere to our Platform’s Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Statement, and any other policies or guidelines provided by Company.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter any content or behavior that violates these Guidelines or if you believe someone is engaging in inappropriate or harmful activities on our Platform, please report it to Company at [email protected]. We appreciate your assistance in maintaining a safe and positive community.

Event Reporting: In addition to contacting us by email, you can report events directly from the event page using the Report Event feature. Select a reason for your report (such as “Not related to cigars/bourbon,” “Scam or misleading,” or “Inappropriate content”), provide any additional details, and submit. All reports are reviewed by our team. Reports are confidential and the identity of the reporting user will not be disclosed to the Organizer.

Promoted Content Transparency

Events displayed in premium positions on the Platform (such as homepage pins, promoted carousels, or city page spotlights) are paid promotional placements purchased by Organizers. These listings are identified with a visible “Promoted” badge to ensure transparency.

Promoted events are real events from verified Organizers. The promotional badge indicates that the Organizer has invested in premium visibility and does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or quality guarantee by Company. Users should evaluate promoted events using the same judgment they would apply to any other event listing.

Enforcement

(a) Investigation and Actions: Company reserves the right to investigate reported violations and take appropriate actions, including removing content, issuing warnings, suspending or terminating accounts, and cooperating with law enforcement authorities if necessary.

(b) Content Moderation: Company may moderate user-generated content on our Platform to ensure compliance with these Guidelines and other policies. However, Company is not responsible for monitoring all content and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-generated content.

Changes to the Community Guidelines

Company reserves the right to update or modify these Guidelines at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our Platform. Your continued use of our Platform after the posting of revised Guidelines constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
